James Ford

Strategy Assistant

Completing a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance and Accounting, James brings a strong interest in how finance and technology can be integrated into business strategy to drive long-term success. He is particularly curious about the role emerging technologies play in shaping how organisations grow, operate, and sustain competitive advantage.

James has developed his perspective through both academic and practical experiences. As a technology sector analyst in a student-led investment club, he has gained insight into how technology influences business performance and investment decisions. Alongside this, his experience across private tutoring, hospitality, and events has reinforced the importance of structured planning, adaptability, and strong client focus in delivering consistent outcomes.

James is also deeply community-oriented, contributing as an executive team member of the University of Sydney Young Vinnies Society and regularly volunteering at St Francis House Homeless Shelter. His involvement in a housing initiative in Cambodia further shaped his perspective on impact and the importance of purpose-driven work. Outside of this, his passion for music, particularly playing the saxophone in jazz and performance settings, reflects his creativity and ability to collaborate within team environments.

At The 24 Hour Business Plan, James supports senior advisers through analytical thinking and a structured approach, helping translate strategic priorities into clear and actionable plans.
