Luke Bannerman

Strategy Assistant

Completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney, Luke brings a unique blend of technical curiosity and analytical thinking, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Business Analytics. He is particularly interested in how data, automation, and emerging technologies are reshaping decision-making in organisations, and how they can be applied responsibly to improve strategy and efficiency.

Luke is drawn to hands-on problem solving and enjoys understanding how systems work — an interest reinforced through personal and university projects. During COVID, he designed and built a go-kart and, more recently, contributed to the successful design and manufacture of a pneumatic air engine as part of his engineering studies. These experiences have strengthened his structured approach, attention to detail, and ability to balance technical depth with practical outcomes.

Luke also brings a strong sense of perspective shaped by service-focused experiences in Timor-Leste and Bathurst Island, where he developed an appreciation for adaptability, cultural awareness, and community-led solutions.

At The 24 Hour Business Plan, Luke supports Senior Advisors through thoughtful analysis and a collaborative mindset, helping clients translate strategic ambition into clear, executable plans.
