Ron's executive career includes Interim CEO roles at AIIA, Fed Square, Melbourne Storm, and Melbourne Polytechnic, alongside Chair of Vicsport and Director of Australian Sports Technology Network. As CEO of Melbourne Storm, he navigated the club to success following the salary cap scandal, whilst building and implementing a recovery strategy for the financially challenged Melbourne Polytechnic.

His corporate experience spans senior positions at Telstra, IBM, Microsoft, and Verizon, giving him deep understanding of both multinational and domestic operations. A Graduate of AICD with extensive board experience across multiple industries, Ron has served as Chairman of Victorian Council and held positions on the Board of Governors for the American Chamber of Commerce.
